I was born in a small tourist town called Petoskey, Michigan. I loved being outdoors and playing sports at a very young age.

During my years in middle school, a friend an I picked up an interest in making graphics. We would create hundreds of graphics on our phones, posting them on Instagram and building a community. This was the first building block. The moment I started making graphics, I felt a sense of happiness. I knew it was right for me.

Later on, in 2020 during the COVID-19 Pandemic, I began to gain interest in photography thanks to Youtuber Peter McKinnon. I would be gifted my first camera, a Nikon D5000 from my God Father, and I began to take photos of everything I could. I was hooked.

Eventually in the spring of senior year in high school, a friend on the baseball team had asked me to come take photos of their game. This was the breakthrough moment in my head — being able to combine my long love of sports with photos.

I enrolled into Central Michigan University in August of 2021 and worked with the Athletic Communications department until graduation in 2025. By 2023, I was given the “lead creative student” role, which worked directly with the Director of Creative Content to produce, brainstorm, and delegate all forms of content.

In December of 2024, I unexpectedly lost my mom after a heart attack. My Mom was my foundation, and was a major support in my chase to be a creative director. She helped me with funding to get my own first personal camera in 2022. Since this moment, I’ve never been more committed to chasing a dream to make my Mom proud. I hope to continue to tell the stories of hundreds of student-athletes and others through my work.
